The LG BL40 Chocolate Clearance is also known as the New Chocolate and LG Chocolate2.
4.0 inch Wide HD Display!
The LG BL40 Chocolate features an incredible 4.0 inch wide HD LCD screen with an 800 x 345 pixel resolution. The wide HD LCD display presents a vibrant range of natural colours allowing photos to appear sharper, videos more true to life and documents more readable. The distinctive wide screen displays a 21:9 aspect ratio for panoramic, cinema-like quality. Mobile internet also comes to life with the New Chocolate with the wide display eliminating the need to continually scroll horizontally to read an entire web page.
Capacitive Touchscreen!
The LG BL40 Chocolate uses capacitive technology supporting multi-touch input methods. Pinch to zoom on maps, photos and the web browser are all possible thanks to multi-touch technology. With a tempered glass finish on the New Chocolate, your fingers glide across the display making for an ultra responsive experience. The BL40 even features haptic feedback which confirms your actions on screen with a light vibration.
S-Class User Interface!
The New Chocolate features touchscreen technology running on the LG S-Class user interface. This new 3D UI puts all your favourite content on different sides of an interactive 3D cube which lets users get to where they want to be with a swipe of the finger. Content can be customised to put all your favourites at your finger tips.
5.0 Megapixel Camera
Including a built in 5.0 megapixel camera with a Schneider Kreuznach lens, auto focus and an LED flash, the LG BL40 on Vodafone takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog.
HSDPA
HSDPA on the Vodafone LG New Chocolate offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset. HSDPA is commonly known as Mobile Broadband.
Wi-Fi
With Wi-Fi you can use your LG phone on Vodafone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet. This offers a cheap (sometimes free) method of connecting to the net to download emails, files, or check on your favourite website.
GPS
With built in GPS you can use the LG BL40 Chocolate to locate your position, plan your journey, and as a general SatNav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software.
Email Client
The Vodafone handset has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch.
Music Player
With a built in music player, the New Chocolate can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC.
Bluetooth 2.0
Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise.
Java
Java is often a forgotten feature on many phones, and is probably used in many ways without you even realising. If you play games on your phone, it is likely they are java apps. But java is so much more than games. It allows you to add extra functionality to the LG BL40 by installing third party apps to the phone. Add email functionality with Gmail, add a web browser from Opera Mini, add a business directory with Yell.com or keep an eye on a new purchase on Ebay.
